Recently, a tourist complained about slow baggage handling at the best airport in the world,
Changi Airport

Following the traveler’s complaint, Changi Airport officials said there was an error on the part of the staff and they were ensuring improvements in baggage operations.
After an investigation, Senior Vice President of the Changi Airport Group, Oliver Kiesewetter, also revealed the cause of slow baggage handling at the airport.

, there was human error in the slow handling of baggage since the first batch of bags arrived at the Changi Airport conveyor.This ultimately resulted in delays in the next bag batch.
When a flight arrives at Changi Airport, ground handling will unload and transport the luggage from the aircraft to the baggage belt for passengers.
The time required for this process can be influenced by various factors, including operational requirements, bad weather, and safety precautions related to the risk of lightning being some of the determinants of smooth baggage operations.
Previously, a tourist who arrived at Changi Airport on November 17 admitted that immigration clearance there was fast, but that luggage delivery was too slow.He revealed that many passengers waited for their bags up to 45 minutes after landing at Changi Airport.
Then the airport investigated and found that there was an error by the staff which caused the delay in baggage flow.
Kiesewetter said the airport will monitor the baggage delivery performance of all arriving flights, to increase passenger comfort.
These tourist complaints sparked various reactions from netizens, many of whom defended the quality of Changi Airport’s services.It’s not surprising, considering that Changi Airport has been named the best airport in the world 13 times by Skytrax.
Travelers who have stopped at Changi Airport agree that the airport deserves praise for its cleanliness, modernity and efficient immigration procedures.
Meanwhile, regarding baggage handling, based on a Skytrax survey, Changi Airport is in third place in the ranking of the best baggage delivery facilities in the world.
