Thailand gave a lively welcome to United Airlines passengers arriving in Bangkok, by giving gifts of handmade elephant dolls and presenting performers dressed in traditional Thai clothing and Khon performances.
The new Los Angeles-Bangkok route will operate daily in both directions, signaling continued demand for US and Thailand travel. The US market remains a popular long-haul destination for Thai tourism.
More than 808,000 Americans visited Thailand from January to October 2025. This figure increased 5 percent compared to the previous year.
