(AAA) is one of the institutions that provides this assessment or ranking.
One of the requirements to achieve a minimum of four diamonds (the highest ranking is five), is that the hotel must have a telephone in the bathroom.Automatically, to compete to score a diamond ranking, luxury hotels offer toilets with telephone facilities.
However, in recent years, luxury hotels have begun to be found without telephones in the toilets.Does this mean they are no longer pursuing the AAA diamond rating?Not so.
The reason is, around 2018, AAA eliminated the requirement for a telephone installation feature in the bathroom as one of the conditions for getting a four diamond rating or above.This deletion is a form of adjustment to technological updates.
It makes sense for AAA to cancel this requirement, considering that in this modern era, everyone already has one

which can be used in emergency situations.
These AAA guidelines have been updated over time, so that hotels now no longer need to install telephones in bathrooms to pursue any ratings.
