Instead of international flights to big and prestigious cities, the busiest flight routes in the world actually come from domestic flights in an Asian country.

, the Official Airline Guide (OAG) revealed that Korea was the first winner.The most booked route this year is Seoul Gimpo – Jeju.
This route is extremely popular with Korean tourists.In just one day, as many as 40 thousand airplane seats are available for this flight purpose.This domestic route connects two destinations in Korea with a travel time of around 75 minutes.
The costs required for this flight ticket are also relatively cheap.Even in high season, like two days before Christmas, tourists can fly to Jeju Island by paying 14 pounds sterling or around Rp. 317 thousand.
Following in second place is a Japanese domestic flight, with the Tokyo Haneda – Sapporo route.The number of seats available to fly to destinations on the island of Hokkaido reaches 33 thousand every day.
Japan, especially flights taking off from Tokyo Haneda, is not only in second place.Other routes from Tokyo Haneda also ranked third and seventh on the list.
The Tokyo Haneda – Fukuoka route is in third place with 31 thousand seats per day.Meanwhile, in fourth place is a country from Southeast Asia, Vietnam.The Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh route reaches 30 thousand seats every day.
In fifth position, there is Saudi Arabia in the southwest Asia region.The route from the capital Riyadh to the Red Sea, Jeddah, can take up 27 thousand seats per day.
Why are flights outside the Asian continent, especially Europe and America, quiet?The reason is not because tourism and tourist interest there is weakening, but because of differences in preferences for the chosen mode of transportation.
Several domestic destinations in European countries are now easier to reach using land transportation modes such as high-speed trains.
For example, Paris and Marseille are arguably tourist magnets.People prefer to come there by train.The distance of 450 miles was covered in three hours.
