Thailand tourism has been shocked by the actions of a couple
Israeli tourists
who was arrested for having sex in a public place, precisely at a popular waterfall tourist attraction.
This husband and wife are residents who are on holiday.The two were arrested in Thailand on Tuesday (4/11) after engaging in sexual activity in a public place at the Wang Sai Thong waterfall on the popular island of Ko Pha Ngan.

Following the viral video, local police then launched an investigation and tracked the couple to a nearby hotel.
They were arrested there by police and immigration officials and taken to the island’s immigration office for questioning, according to reports

Authorities stated that the couple admitted to being the individuals in the lewd video and confirmed their sexual activity.
They were charged with obscenity in a public place and both were immediately transferred to be detained at the police station.
Police officials stressed that the couple’s behavior violated Thai law and showed a lack of respect for local culture.
Tourism data shows that around 300,000 Israeli tourists visited Thailand between January and September this year, marking a 57 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
However, the Thai government has warned Israeli tourists to act respectfully when visiting the Land of the White Elephant amid growing public frustration over their behavior.
Complaints about inappropriate behavior by Israeli tourists are reportedly increasing in popular Thai destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Pai.
