History of the Pyramids in Sudan
The pyramids in Sudan were built around the 8th century BC in the region of Nubia, which was then the center of power of the ancient Kingdom of Kush.It is not surprising that most of the pyramid sites are found in this area.
To date, around 200 pointed monuments and 41 tombs of Kush nobles have been discovered.
