2. Nawat insulted Miss Mexico
Miss Thailand director and host for the 74th Miss Universe in Thailand, Nawat Itsaragrisil insulted Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch.
The two of them were recorded arguing during a meeting on November 4 2025. Nawat once called Bosch a “dumbhead”.Then to reporters, Nawat said he said the word “damage”.

4. The Miss Chile video drew criticism

On November 6, 2025, Miss Chile Inna Moll uploaded a TikTok video showing herself pretending to smoke cocaine.He took part in the ‘Addicted to You’ trend.
In the video, Moll, who appears without make-up, sprinkles white powder from pressed powder on her arm.She bends over and pretends to suck on powder before the video cuts to her looking glamorous.
The video was flooded with criticism.Moll also deleted the video and then uploaded an apology on Instagram.He said the video was made at the request of the make-up artist.
“At first I refused, but he insisted, and I complied. I should have refused firmly,” said Moll.
Meanwhile, make-up artist Taraton Aek also uploaded an apology on the same day.Aek said he did not mean to harm the contestants or the country’s image.
Despite the criticism, Moll was not disqualified.She will still participate in Miss Universe 2025.
5. Two jurors withdrew
Ahead of the Miss Universe 2025 final, two judges withdrew, namely musician Omar Harfouch and French football manager Claude Makelele.
Harfouch announced he was stepping down via a post on Instagram.He claimed the Top 30 had been determined in secret by an ‘impromptu jury’, aka an unofficial judging group.
