The 27-year-old woman said that the threats appeared several hours after the video of her cynical gaze went viral on social media.

“My social media is filled with hate comments. These video clips show as if I was standing next to her [Miss Palestine],” said Shiraz, as reported by
Fox News
.
Shiraz admitted to receiving scary hate comments.Some of these were messages of death and rape threats sent privately.
“It’s gotten to the point of, ‘I will rape or kill you,’ or ‘I hope you end up like one of the hostages who were raped or shot in the head,'” Shiraz said.
“I also received the words, ‘die, you dirty Jew’. I don’t want to be too graphic [about it], it was shocking,” he added.
Shiraz hopes to be able to have intense communication with Miss Palestine, such as taking photos together to show a real example of peace between the two countries.
The incident of Shiraz’s cynical gaze towards Miss Palestine was only one of the dramas that occurred during the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.
Previously, a number of contestants chose to withdraw for various reasons.There was also the incident of Miss Mexico walking out after being called ‘stupid’ by the National Director of Miss Universe 2025.
The final night of Miss Universe 2025 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday (21/11).
