The Philippine Department of Tourism called this difference the key to victory in the 2025 World Travel Awards (WTA).
“The differences reflect the capital’s strengthened cultural landscape, culinary offerings, heritage districts, and increased readiness for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE),” the Philippines Department of Tourism said.
Apart from being rich in history, Manila is also known as an economic and trade center, offering abundant culinary tourism along the streets, as well as modern shopping centers.
