Malaysia, for the first time launched shipping
cruise ship
for the Umrah pilgrimage in January 2026. Titled IslamiCruise under the Aroya Cruises banner, this cruise provides passengers with a unique pilgrimage experience.
This 15-day cruise departs from the Port Klang Cruise Terminal in Selangor.Before docking in Saudi Arabia and spending two nights in Jeddah, they will dock at several ports, including in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, Oman and the Maldives.
Apart from the Maldives, the destinations mentioned are often visited by pilgrims and pilgrims who usually travel by ship to perform the Hajj or Umrah.

This is a one-way cruise, meaning that IslamiCruise passengers after arriving in Saudi Arabia must board a flight to return to their country of origin or to another destination.Meanwhile, return plane tickets are not included in this cruise ship package.
IslamiCruise also welcomes non-Muslim passengers, although they will receive a separate package, which in this case does not include the Umrah pilgrimage.
IslamiCruise is officially recognized by the Malaysian government as a Visit Malaysia 2026 tourism product. The Aroya ship can accommodate more than 3,500 passengers.They offer four room types, including suites, cabins, and even villas.
Apart from that, Aroya also provides various facilities and activities on board.They want to ensure passengers have a satisfying spiritual experience during the journey.
Facilities include a swimming pool, water slides, mini golf and soccer.Meanwhile, the spiritual activities offered included spiritual enrichment lectures on board the ship, guided by Ustaz Wadi Anuar from Malaysia and Ustaz Abdul Somad from Indonesia.
