The number of visits in October 2025 decreased by 4.83 percent compared to September 2025, but increased by 11.19 percent compared to October 2024.

Malaysia still dominates the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in the January-October 2025 period with 17.13 percent, followed by Australia with 11.95 percent, and Singapore with 9.43 percent.
What’s interesting, on the other hand, tourists from Indonesia are also the largest number of foreign tourists visiting Malaysia in the same period.
Based on the number of national tourist trips (wisnas) in October 2025, which reached 725.42 thousand trips, of which around a third visited Malaysia.
In terms of length of stay, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in October 2025 have spent an average of 9.80 nights in Indonesia.
On the other hand, tourists from Southeast Asia have the shortest average length of stay of 4.50 nights, while tourists from Europe have the longest average length of stay of 15.67 nights.
When viewed by nationality, the longest average length of stay was recorded for Yemeni national tourists at 25.66 nights, while Timor Leste had the shortest average length of stay at 2.37 nights.
