Indonesia is not in the top three on the list and the top position of the best country for digital nomads is occupied by Colombia.

, Colombia is the top trend for digital nomads in 2026, this is driven by an easy visa system, pocket-friendly cost of living, and the many sites and facilities that can be explored while there.
Travelers who want to work remotely in Colombia can apply for the V Digital Nomads Visa program.If you want to register, travelers must complete a number of documents.
Requirements range from having a valid passport, a letter from your employer or cover letter explaining the project, having a bank statement showing at least the last three months’ wages, and having a valid health insurance plan.
Once approved, the visa can be used for a maximum of two years.However, this only applies to foreign digital jobs, meaning travelers cannot work directly for companies based in Colombia.
