Abreu couldn’t hide her happy and emotional face when Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy put on her sash and crown.

Abreu managed to beat 79 other contestants in this annual event held in Tokyo, Japan.
Before advancing to the Miss International 2025 event, Abreu first won the title of Miss Colombia 2024. At the Senorita Colombia 2024 event, she became the first woman from Antioquia to win this title.
Abreu was born in Miami on September 20, 1999 to parents from Medellin, Colombia.She holds a degree in social communications with a digital marketing focus at EAFIT University of Medellin.After graduating, he worked at Argos, a leading company in Colombia.
During the Senorita Colombia competition, Abreu highlighted female leaders.According to him, female leaders are charismatic, always strive for the common good, pay attention to other people, are humble, and are willing to learn.
This 26 year old woman also emphasized that a beauty queen should be more than just a beautiful figure.
“Anyone can be beautiful, but having the whole beauty package is something important and impactful,” added Abreu, quoting from Columbia One.

Then in the Miss International 2025 competition, she continued to carry the theme of women’s empowerment by focusing on creating training spaces for girls and teenagers.
Meanwhile, Abreu’s victory at Miss International adds to the list of Colombian women who have successfully held this prestigious title.Previously, Colombia’s representatives with the Miss International title were Stella Marquez (1960) and Jeymmy Vargaz (2004).

Abreu said her achievements in this international beauty event were not only due to her own struggles but also the support of many parties.
“This title represents the collective work of Colombian women who dream of changing their reality through service and culture,” he said after the coronation.
