In an Instagram post, Harfouch claimed that the day before, he had been asked to choose Fatima as the winner.

“The owner of Miss Universe, Raul Rocha, is in business with Fatima Bosch chickens,” Harfoch claims.

, Harfouch claimed that he rejected attempts by certain parties to influence his vote.
“I asked him, ‘You shouldn’t ask me this, because maybe I myself would have chosen him because of his extraordinary speeches and because he fought for women’s rights,” said Harfouch, trying to recount his meeting with the party in question.
“Her son said to me, ‘For the sake of our business, it’s [very] important to make sure she [Fatima Bosch] wins,” he added.
Until now, the Miss Universe Organization and the Bosch family have not provided a statement regarding this matter.
Previously, Harfouch himself had resigned from the Miss Universe 2025 judging panel three days before the final.At that time, he said that the top 30 finalists had been determined previously.
Two other judges, former footballer Claude Makelele and Princess Cimilla di Borbone delle Due Sicilie also resigned from the panel after Harfouch.
At that time, Makelele mentioned ‘unforeseen personal problems’ as the reason for his resignation.Meanwhile, Princess Camilla did not comment on her decline.
One contestant, who asked to remain anonymous, admitted he was disappointed with rumors of 30 contestants being selected from the start.They only found out after completing the final practice for the preliminary round.
“Many of the contestants on this pre-selected top 30 list violated conflicts of interest through personal relationships with organizations,” he said.
He expressed his gratitude to Harfouch for daring to speak out.
“She [Harfouch] demonstrated the leadership that Miss Universe should celebrate,” he said.
