Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (
BPOM
) released a list of 23 cosmetics that contain dangerous ingredients including Pinkflash.This brand will also provide compensation for its customers.
BPOM has again discovered a series of cosmetics containing dangerous ingredients during the July-September 2025 period. The Chinese brand, Pinkflash, is included in the list.There are two products that were ‘caught’ by BPOM, namely, Pinkflash 3 Pan eyeshadow PF-E23 BR02 and Pinkflash 3 Pan Eyeshadow PF-E23 BR04.

BPOM found that each product contained acid orange 7 dye and red K10 dye which are prohibited because they can trigger cancer, liver damage, and the nervous system and brain.
Responding to this, Pinkflash stated that they fully respect and comply with BPOM’s decision.
“As of the date the BPOM letter was issued, we have stopped distribution and sales of these color products in offline stores or distributors or official marketplaces,” wrote Pinkflash in an upload on Instagram.
This brand also shuts down the product destruction process according to safety procedures and standards.
Then as a form of consumer compensation, consumers who have purchased these two products will be compensated twice the product purchase price.
