and Christmas 2025 collective leave is of concern to many parties, especially regarding December 24th.Many speculate that this date is included in the collective leave list because of its position close to Christmas Day.
However, the Government has confirmed that December 24 2025 is not designated as a holiday for Christmas.
Based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Three Ministers for 2025 – which was signed by the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, December 24 2025 is a normal working day.

In the SKB, the government has determined the official list of national holidays and collective leave for 2025:
– The National Christmas Holiday falls on Thursday, December 25 2025 (Celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ).
– Christmas Shared Leave is set only on Friday, December 26 2025 (Joint Holiday for the Birth of Jesus Christ).
Even though December 24 is a working day, it can be a holiday for workers who take annual leave on that day.
