The theme park divides its areas based on vampire mythology and pop culture backgrounds:

2. Dracula’s Castle: A fictional vampire home site, which is made in great detail with ruins, mazes, lakes and a bat coaster.

In addition to the physical attractions, Dracula Land will also have its own “metaverse”, where visitors can use DraculaCoin tokens in both physical and digital form.
This amusement park is strategically located, only 20 minutes from Bucharest city center and 15 minutes from Henri Coandă International Airport.Although it is planned to open in 2027, admission prices have not been confirmed.
Dracula Land is part of a major Romanian development that includes three Dracula-themed hotels (offering 1,200 rooms), a water park and spa, a motor racing track, luxury outlets, and a 22,500-seat arena for concerts and festivals.
Dracula Land founder, Dragoș Dobrescu, is optimistic that this project will have a big impact.”For me, Dracula Land is a national project – a symbol that Romania can and should build landmarks, not just buildings or simple real estate projects,” he said.
This project is predicted to open up to 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, especially in the tourism and technology sectors. The economic impact is estimated to reach 5 billion euros or around IDR 97.4 trillion over the next decade.
Romania itself has a strong historical narrative with vampires.Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula is set largely in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains, which later became the inspiration for the global vampire character.
