To determine the effect of espresso on cholesterol, researchers in Norway analyzed data from more than 20,000 people aged over 40 years.

He explained that unfiltered coffee can contain up to 30 times more cholesterol-increasing compounds than coffee brewed using a filter.
“Caffeinated coffee is a stimulant and can increase blood pressure and cause heart palpitations such as atrial fibrillation,” he added.
