However, there is one particular characteristic of suitcases that is considered to be at greater risk of being lost in the trunk.It could be because it was thrown or accidentally wasted during transit.These suitcases are usually very heavy but have weak handles, especially if they are made from material that tears and breaks easily.
To prevent suitcases from being damaged, passengers should ensure that the weight of the suitcase is under 23 kilograms (kg).In addition, choosing the type of suitcase based on a certain brand is thought to reduce the risk of the suitcase getting lost in the trunk.
The flight crew recommended several brands of suitcases which he thought were ideal for long journeys.Among them are Globe-Trotter, Travelpro, GATE8 or Antler.
“When you buy a suitcase, choose a brand that is usually used by flight crew. This is my favorite tip. My flight mates and I only use one brand, and we have never experienced damage,” said a former airport worker, as reported by

Apart from suitcases, items with unusual shapes and sizes such as baby strollers are also more often left behind in luggage.
Another tip, when you want to board a plane, you should choose a direct flight to your destination, avoid making lots of stops at different airports. This is because most of the items in your luggage are lost during transit flights.
However, if the flight has to transit, at least passengers can ensure there is a long enough time delay during the transit.
Another baggage handler, Adam, also added tips to always use wheeled suitcases when flying.At least if the suitcase is equipped with quality wheels, the baggage handler can more easily pass the suitcase down quickly without having to slam it.
“Otherwise, we have to ‘throw away’ the bag to stay on the scheduled time,” he concluded.
