Varosha was once known as one of the most luxurious and popular resort towns in Cyprus, a favorite place for international tourists.However, since the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, the entire population was evacuated, and the city was abandoned.

2. Nara Dreamland, Japan

Located in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, Deception Island is famous for its abandoned whaling station and research facilities.This station was evacuated several times between 1931 and 1969 due to volcanic eruptions.

Sarajevo, then still part of Yugoslavia, hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics. The Olympic complex is known for its natural beauty and excellent skiing facilities.
Unfortunately, the outbreak of the Balkan Wars left this complex abandoned.What remains now are graffiti-covered bobsled tracks, hotel ruins and creaking chairlifts, mute monuments to a war-torn glory era.
