, Tuesday (4/11), two of the country’s proud hotels on the list are Potato Head Village in Seminyak and Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Ubud.
Potato Head Village, Seminyak, was ranked 18th, while Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Ubud, was in 50th position.

These two hotels are known globally for their strong concept of combining environmental sustainability with rich local culture.This makes them both leading destinations for global tourists looking for an authentic Balinese experience.
In this most prestigious list in 2025, the title of best hotel in the world was won by Rosewood Hong Kong.Even though it has only been operating for six years, this 65-story hotel has become a new icon on the Hong Kong skyline and a symbol of luxury in Asia.
“Being this year’s winner is both a surprise and a huge honor,” said Rosewood Hong Kong Complex Sales and Marketing Director, Angus Pitkethley, adding emotion and pride at the award.

, this year’s list is a positive achievement that includes the best properties from 22 destinations spread across six continents.
Rosewood Hong Kong, for example, is considered to offer a world-class guest experience in the heart of a dynamic city.This year’s strong trend shows the dominance of hotels from Asia in the top rankings.Apart from Rosewood Hong Kong, there is Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, and Capella Bangkok, which is located in Thailand.
Only Passalacqua on Lake Como, Italy, managed to break Asia’s dominance by finishing fourth.Meanwhile, the historic Raffles Singapore hotel, known as the birthplace of the legendary Singapore Sling cocktail, completes the top five positions.
Several other Asian properties that also grace this list include Mandarin Oriental Bangkok (No. 7), The Upper House Hong Kong (No. 10), Bulgari Tokyo (No. 15), and Aman Tokyo (No. 25).
‘The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025’ list was compiled based on rigorous assessments from the World’s 50 Best Hotel Academy.The Academy consists of 800 hospitality industry experts, including business people and travel journalists, spread across 13 global regions.
